The past few days have been difficult. I am not on top of my game. I’m at work trying to recover from being sick, trying to be in a good mood, but it proves to be difficult when not everyone you work with is not the same as you.
Yep people are different, and that can make for challenging interpersonal interactions.
Do you tend to notice passive-aggressive actions of others? I do. I’m extermely sensitive to them. So when someone hands me a stack of paper to fill up the copy machine as I’m waiting for my print outs…it could be that the person is passively-agressively reminding me that it is everyone’s job to add paper to the copy machine or it could be that she was not sure I knew where we kept the paper. It’s possible, right?
Some days you just have to accept the fact that things are not always going to go your way. That’s when you have to rely on friends to pick you up and remind you that…
“I’m Good Enough, I’m Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me!”
Thank you SM for the reminder!
p.s. people like you too!

My entire family has been sick for a few days. Nothing like those middle of the summer colds, ear infections, sinus infections.
I’ve missed a few days work and will hopefully be back tomorrow.
It’s funny though this week I was planning to catch up on everything. Now I’m reminded of the saying…”Life is what happens while you were busy making other plans.”
Hope the rest of the world is healthy!

Just a quick note. I am seriously behind as a result of vacation. I’m getting emails that people say they’ve sent for the third time because I have not responded. I’m taking tomorrow to catch up on email, update my task lists, update my calendar. Then I can breathe and start posting again.
In the meantime if you have a time management tool that you like or method, please share via comments.

I’ve been on vacation which is why it has been a while since I’ve posted. But I’m back at work and trying to catch up on the mound of work and emails that piled up while I was gone.
I was completely unplugged while on vacation…no Internet, no email…it was wonderful!
Does anyone else ever feel the dread of the aftermath of vacations? It almost makes me not want to take one…almost…
At the moment I am completely overwhelmed and have not even had time to check in with my mentor. I need a sick day just to get caught up.
You’ll hear more from me soon!
